Any registered nurse under the Act is eligible to become a member of the Association.

Membership ends if the member:
  • Resigns voluntarily
  • Is dismissed or terminated by ZANA's constitution
  • Is removed from the nurses' registry
  • Fails to meet membership conditions

Joining ZANA provides opportunities for career growth, networking, leadership development, and access to continuing education programs.

In addition to being a registered nurse, members must:
  • Pay the prescribed membership fee
  • Be of good character
  • Respect the nursing profession
  • Uphold nursing ethics and the Code of Conduct

How to Join ZANA

If you're a registered nurse ready to be part of ZANA, please follow the steps below:

  • Download the application form here
  • Print and complete all required fields
  • Pay a non-refundable fee of 10,000 TZS (account details in form)
  • Attach all required documents
  • Submit your application to the ZANA office
